Welcome and thanks for your intrest on our webpage.
We have a butcher´s shop where you can buy a lot of delicious meat and real Thuringian “Wurst” and our free time we spend with our horses.
Don’t worry – you´ll wont find horsemeat in the shop.
We love our horses and like to share with you the experience being at one with horse and environment.
The little village Schmiedefeld is placed in the heart of germany in the Thuringian forest whitch is crossed by the famous German hiking trail ‘Rennsteig’ just near by.
The Thuringian Forest is a remarkable mix of flowering mountain pastures and charming woodland.
The spectacular scenery will leave you refreshed in body, mind and spirit.
So let us take you on a unforgettable trip on horseback or sit down in the carriage lean back and just relax.
Our emphasis is on safety and enjoyment, in an atmosphere of great fun. We cater for almost anyone - individuals, couples, families, small groups, anyone with an adventurous nature, love of the outdoors, animals and natural beauty that the Thuringian forest has to offer.
We have a wide range of horse riding and carriage driving options available, from one hour up to a whole day.
1 riding hour = 20,00 € p.P.
1 hour carriage driving = 50,00 € up to seven people
On a ride we only take two riders each time, in the carriage there is place for up to seven people.
Our horses are fit, keen, sure-footed and well experienced in handling the terrain.
We`ll do things at your pace whether you`re a complete beginner or a more experienced rider. If you want a gentle ride then that`s what we`ll do. If you`re looking for something more challenging then we can do that to.
We also provide a "horse experience" for those who have not ridden before. Time to learn and enjoy your horse.
We suggest long pants for riding, a windbreaker or sweatshirt is good to have for the breezy tops, and sturdy footwear is a must.
